Schengen Visas Schengen Visas

The schengen visa allows a Non-E.U citizen entry to 15 European countries that signed up to this agreement; to allow foreign nationals to travel freely within this area without applying for multiple visas.

The following countries participate in the schengen visa arrangements: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Iceland, Italy, Greece, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain and Sweden. All of these countries except Norway and Iceland are European Union members.

When applying for the schengen visa for either a tourist or business purposes you need to include a variety of documentation to establish the details of your trip and also that you have the funds to cover any visit.

You will need to supply an itinerary of your flight schedule and listings of your accommodation for your stay. To establish you have the requisite funds for the length of the trip, you will need to supply original bank statements and or and pay slips to support any application. For any business trips undertaken an invitation letter will be needed from the business in the foreign country and a letter from your employer in the UK outlining there support of your trip.  Proof of medical insurance is also required to support any schengen visa application.

If you are applying for the visa from within the UK, your passport must be valid beyond the dates requested on the schengen visa application. In addition, you must also still have a valid UK visa for at least 3 months following your return to the UK.  It is vitally important that your application is fully supported with the right documentation before you apply. If your application is poorly and insufficiently supported, this may delay your application from being decided.

If you would like to instruct us to manage an application for a schengen visa on your behalf, please contact our offices. You can speak to a qualified and experienced professional who can provide you with a quote for managing your schengen visa application.
