I am really perplexed and astonished that you have been able to process and won the battle that we have been trying since more than two years with other Immigration consultants in such a short period. After over fourteen years spent in the UK, we have been given Indefinite Leave to Remain. This was a very difficult application and you and your staff deserve our sincere congratulations. My whole family joins me to thank you for all your guidance ,assistance and help you have extended in this achievement. You have already won two cases for us. What is more surprising is that we have never met each other but it seems as if we have an established working relationship for years. Thank you again and best wishes for future. |

I would like to thank you and your team for the excellent support and effort in achieving such a quick and positive result. I had applied for a work permit previously and despite seeing my local MP (who drafted a letter supporting the application) it was rejected. We had approached a number of your competitors and they thought our chances of success were very slim as we had been rejected previously. Our application was accepted yesterday and the entire business is delighted, as Miss Yu is a very valuable, well liked and respected member of our Company. I thank you for the continued support you provided during the process and I commend you on your attention to detail and customer service. Miss Yu has asked me to thank you on her behalf for the outcome of the application and the support you provided during a very difficult, uncertain time. I would be delighted to recommend you to any other business or individual thinking about making a work permit application |

I have just received all the documents this morning and I have just seen all the papers from home office with the passports. You and your team really know how to bring smile on other people's face which is through hard work, trust and in a very friendly way. I am also so please to inform you that you have always been in touch and I have always been able to talk to you on the phone. You are a very professional team and have never let us down. I personally congratulate you for handling this case so well and above all winning it. I will recommend you to all my friends. Keep the good work and again very well done. |

My student visa extension was refused and I didn’t understand what to do. My friend recommended PERMITS2WORK, I immediately contacted them. I am very thankful to PERMITS2WORK for accepting my case. They were open and talked to me about all positives and negatives about my case and immediately started working on my case. They kept me informed during all the stages of appeal. They even prepared me for the court hearing and always encouraged me to regain my confidence back. Finally, I won the appeal at the AIT Asylum and Immigration Tribunal and I can now carry on with my studies. I am very pleased with their efforts, cooperation and hard work. I wouldn’t have achieved this without the help of PERMITS2WORK and their dedication towards my case. I am very glad that I made a right choice by going to PERMITS2WORK and I would recommend others as well |

Refusal of Student Visa (Name and address withheld for privacy)

Having become increasingly concerned at the validity and wisdom of advice we had received from a London based Brazilian legal services company, my (now) wife and I sought advice from PERMITS2WORK. After a helpful initial telephone enquiry we were able to make a rapid appointment to meet with at the company’s Swindon offices. Our requests concerned the best way to arrange for a “wife visa” following our intended marriage abroad and how best to deal with an overstayed visa situation for my wife. We were extremely concerned that if we did not prepare fully we could face a period apart immediately following our marriage and were very anxious to do all we could to avoid that and to present our case properly and truthfully to try and ensure the best result. PERMITS2WORK were sympathetic and genuinely caring and spent almost half a day discussing our case in a friendly and professional manner. We left the meeting feeling much happier and confident having agreed what documents we needed to collate and having had the likely processes well explained to us. PERMITS2WORK worked diligently over the next few days to assemble a substantial pack of documents for us from the items we provided and the information we gave. They presented those documents to us on time and less than a week later and we were delighted with the presentation and content. We were able to travel only a few days later taking the documents with us. After our marriage abroad we simply added the remaining documents and couriered the package (some 2.6kgs of documents!) to the British Consulate in Rio. We were unable to ascertain likely processing times so were left crossing our fingers that the wait would be short. The documents were returned to us from the Consulate 2 days later as a result of an incorrect photo size (our fault) used and we corrected that and sent them back again the same day. Less than 2 full working days later we received an email from the British Consulate advising that my wife’s visa had been issued and 2 days after that we received the documents and visa by courier. This was much faster than we had ever hoped possible and we will always be grateful to PERMITS2WORK for their part in the process. |

Tier 1 (General) Recommended Changes
The Migration Advisory Committee(MAC) has completed its review of Tier 1 of the points-based system. Earlier this year, the MAC was asked to consider whether the criteria for Tier 1 should be changed in 2010/11 to reflect changing economic circumstances. The MAC's report, published, says that Tier 1 is generally operating well, but also recommends some changes.
